PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method suitable for detecting the position of the stationary image or the like of the abnormal place of a trolley wire or the like and capable of detecting the position of a utility pole with high accuracy, and to provide an apparatus for recording the abnormal place of a route as an image. SOLUTION: A first gate is set to the next position of the utility pole as a gate on the basis of the distance data measured based on the detected position of the utility pole, while a second gate is set to the next position of the utility pole on the basis of the distance data measured based on a measuring reference position and a utility pole detection signal at either one of the first and second gates to detect the actual position of the utility pole. When the difference between the actual detection position of the utility pole looked from the measuring reference position related to a certain utility pole, and the distance data looked from the measuring reference position related to the certain utility pole becomes a predetermined error or less, the detection position of the certain utility pole is converted to the measuring reference position and, on the basis of the measuring reference position, the second gate is set. |
