PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus whereby organic wastes, animal/ vegetable residues, domestic animal feces and urine, concentrated factory waste liquids, etc., can be directly dried and stably gasified with a carbonization oven. SOLUTION: Chips of wood scraps, unseasoned wood, leaves, weeds, etc., are added to organic wastes, animal/vegetable residues, domestic animal feces and urine, concentrated factory waste liquids, etc., which are then subjected to a heating and evaporation treatment with an evaporation drier. The dried products are pelletized, then gasified and carbonized with a carbonization oven. The resultant gas is used as a heat source for the evaporation drier and the carbonization oven. The resultant carbonization product is effectively used as fuel or a soil conditioner or for water treatment or deodorizing treatment.
