<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester resin bottle which can obtain a bottle having an opening part excellent in rigidity and dimensional precision. SOLUTION: In the method, a polyester resin having ethylene terephthalate units as main constitutional repeating units is injection-molded into a bottomed tubular preform. The preform is humidity-conditioned so that a specific quantity of absorbed moisture [M] (ppm) expressed by formula (I) of M (ppm)=[(W1 -W0 )/W1 ]×10<6> [wherein, W0 is the weight (g) of the preform immediately after molding before humidity conditioning; W1 is the weight of the preform immediately before opening part heat treatment after moisture conditioning] meets formula (II) of 8×TCl -1350<=M<=8×TCl -1190 [wherein, TCl is the temperature increase crystallization temperature ( deg.C) of the polyester resin in the preform immediately after molding before moisture conditioning; M>=0], its opening part is heat-treated to be crystallized, and the preform is blow-molded into the bottle.</p> |
