PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for mounting a clothes-drying member on a simple roof, which dispenses with the accuracy of the execution of work for drilling a hole in a side surface of a side frame or that of a rafter on a building site and facilitates the execution of work for mounting a hanging support for the clothes-drying member on the simple roof. SOLUTION: A mounting-hole positioning jig 30, which is composed of a semiconductor part and a rectangular part, is made to abut on the side surface of the side frame, so as to make a mounting hole drilled; a mounting tool for the hanging support 61 is temporarily fixed to the mounting hole; the hanging supports 61 and 62 are fitted for insertion into support bearing parts 34 of an interval maintaining tool 33; the mounting tool mounted on the hanging support 62 is made to abut on the side surface of the side frame, so that a mark can be placed; the jig 30 is made to abut on the mark so as to make the hole drilled; the hanging support 62 is temporarily fixed to the side frame; both of the temporarily fixed hanging supports 61 and 62 are mounted on the side surface of the side frame by means of fixtures; and the clothes-drying member is mounted on both of the hanging supports 61 and 62.
