PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve stem seal component eliminating potential orienta tion misplacement when using no valve stem seal for an adjoining valve. SOLUTION: This valve stem seal component 10 is provided with an integral locator capable of surely and appropriately fitting in the upper parts of valve guides 44 and 46. Each of multiple valve stem seal components is used for every engine. This valve seal component is designed to be inserted into the intake valve guide 46. Each valve stem seal component is provided with a valve stem seal module 12 suited to be fitted in the intake valve guide. The locator is fitted in the valve stem seal module 12 via a connecting part 16 extending between the valve stem seal module and the locator. The connecting part 16 is provided with an arc edge part adapted to a curved edge part of a boss 40 of a cylinder head 38 by a single disposition. Locator is a circular ring suited to be fitted in an exhaust guide. |
