THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a three-dimensional stereoscopic image to an observer regardless of movement of the observer with respect to a three-dimensional display device which independently changes luminance of each of two-dimensional images displayed on first and second display faces to display the three- dimensional stereoscopic image. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional display device displays two-dimensional images on the first display face arranged in a position close to the observer and the second display face arranged in a position far from the observer and changes luminance of displayed two-dimensional images independently by display faces, and this display device is provided with a means which detects movement of the observer and a means which changes the position of the two-dimensional images displayed on the first display face in accordance with detected movement of the observer so that the two-dimensional image displayed on the first display face and that displayed on the second display face may overlap when viewed from the observer.
