PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid loss of inertial torque of a generator in a hybrid car provided with an engine, a motor and the generator. SOLUTION: In a power transmission device of an automobile provided with the engine 1, the generator 15 driven by output of the engine 1, and a motor 29 driven by power output of the generator 15 and discharge output of a battery 47, a clutch mechanism 23 is provided between an output shaft of the engine 1 and an output shaft of the generator 15. By this, occurrence of inertial torque of the generator can be restricted. Thus, correction of the inertia torque due to the engine or the motor becomes unnecessary, and a fuel cost can be drastically reduced at acceleration of the vehicle. |
