PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand cover for cooking, which does not work against cooking even if the hand cover is worn from the beginning to the end of cooking and which if necessary, can protect the hand of a cooker from splash of heated oil, etc. SOLUTION: This hand cover for cooking is provided with a cylindrical part 4 which is worn on the hand so as to wrap at least the wrist 3 with it and a cover part 10 which is extended from the cylindrical part 4 so as to cover the back of the hand 9 while exposing the palm 8. The cover part 10 can be bent relatively to the cylindrical part 4. When the cover part is folded so that it is extended along the surface of the cylindrical part 4 and a button 11 is passed to a button hole 12, the cover part 10 is retained in a folded state.
