CONTROL ROD DRIVING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a control rod driving mechanism of a type of driving a drive shaft to which a control rod is connected by using a divided type nut. SOLUTION: A core 1, a solenoid coil 2, a fixed armature 3 and a movable armature 4 of a solenoid which is a power generating source for a switching operation of the divided type nut are wholly stored in a pressure vessel 8, and an alternating current magnetic flux generated when the solenoid coil 2 is energized is prevented from passing a vessel wall of the pressure vessel 8, to thereby prevent a loss.
