PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a current device for confirming which station a train stops and which station the train passes through on the basis of the only service information held in the on-vehicle side when the train is automati cally operated for service. SOLUTION: This automatic train operating means is provided with a train number setting means for outputting the train number showing kind of the train to be transmitted from the on-vehicle side to a ground side before the train reaches the next station for stop and an automatic control means for controlling traveling of the train by controlling the automatic operation of the trains, by comparing the operation service information corresponding to the train number received from the ground side with the operation service information confirmed in the on-vehicle side on the basis of the train number input from the train number setting means to confirm stop and passing of the following train. |
