PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a recording medium storage case thin. SOLUTION: This recording medium storing case comprises a case main body 71 and a clear cover 72 fitted freely rotatively on a fulcrum protrusion 92 formed at the base end of the case main body 71. Four sides of the cover 72 are formed able to be stored at the inside of the side wall of the case main body. The main body 71 is made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin having an Izod strength of 5 kj/m<2> for protecting the cover 72. The base end of the main body 71 is formed with the fulcrum protrusion 92 through an elastically deformable tab piece 90 for easing the shock applied to the fulcrum recess 89 of the cover 72 and for preventing the breakage of the easily breakable support part 88 of the cover 72 by the tab piece 90. By this a thin yet strong storage case can be obtained. |
