<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new eosinophilic active substance from a deep ocean water. SOLUTION: The eosinophilic active substance is a component of a polar solvent soluble fraction transferred from a solute of a deep ocean water to a polar solvent phase by contacting the solute of deep ocean water separated from deep ocean water with the polar solvent. The eosinophilic active substance can be produced in high concentration by the steps of separating a substance dissolved in deep ocean water from the water, contacting the separated solute of the deep ocean water with a polar solvent to transfer a polar solvent-soluble substance in the deep ocean water solute to the polar solvent phase, separating the product into the polar solvent phase and the component insoluble in the polar solvent and removing the polar solvent from the separated polar solvent phase to obtain the eosinophilic active substance existing in the polar solvent soluble component.
