PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a shutter mechanism small-sized and light, and also, to obtain a satisfactory light shielding performance. SOLUTION: A shutter aperture 1a formed in a shutter base plate 1 is opened/ closed by several blades 2. Among the blades, a slit forming blade 2a and a covering blade 2b are supported by an arm constituted of a main arm 3, a follower arm 4 and an auxiliary arm 6, and driven by a shutter driving mechanism, and the blades 2a and 2b are driven in parallel in accordance with the oscillation of the arm, then, the blades are retreated under the shutter aperture 1a. The auxiliary arm 6 is pivotally supported by the covering blade 2b so that the arm 6 can oscillate, and both end parts of the arm 6 are positioned facing the main arm 3 and the follower arm 4. A connection part 4b at one end is connected to the follower arm 4, a connection part 6b at the other end and also the main arm 3 are connected to the covering blade 2b.
