PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill storage device and its utilizing device facilitating inspection and maintenance of a detection part, wiring of a power line and a communication line, and energy saving in a conveying mechanism part, etc. SOLUTION: This bill storage device 200 discriminates by a discrimination detecting part 115A a bill 100 from a storage incoming port 110 stored in storage parts 210, 230. In the point of time adding a prescribed time length to the point of time of a signal obtained in the point of time inputting the bill 100 into an incoming detection part 115C or in the point of time ending passing, by making storage action of the storage part 210, necessity for an ending detection part 115B is eliminated, to facilitate inspection and maintenance. Based on a starting signal from the incoming detection part 115C and a signal processing part C11, a main control part C12 drives a storage conveying mechanism part 112, so as to save energy. A communication line of serial communication between the signal processing part C11, the main control part C12, and control parts C1 to C3 and a drive power line of each drive part m1 to m5 are made a bundle cable, to facilitate wiring. As a utilizing device, a bill conveyer 300 and a pachinko base island device 500 are provided.
