摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a semiconductor laser module which can improve the reproducibility of an optical axis angle when a condenser lens which converges laser light and makes it impinge on an optical fiber is aligned. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the semiconductor laser module includes a process of installing the condenser lens on a lens fixation part end surface of a package, a process of outputting the laser light in a laser oscillation state by supplying a specific driving current to a semiconductor laser element and picking up an image of the beam section of the laser light having passed through the condenser lens, a process of detecting the gravity center position of the beam section by processing picked-up image data and adjusting a threshold level so that desired beam section is obtained, a process of detecting the angle of the optical axis to the reference axis of the laser light having passed through the condenser lens according to a shift in the gravity center position of the beam section at a different image pickup position, and a process of fixing the condenser lens on the lens fixation part end surface at a position when the optical axis angle is within a specific angle range or moving the condenser lens and fixing the condenser lens on the lens fixation part end surface at a position where the specific angle range is entered when not.
