PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch opening device which allows a physically handicapped person to easily open a door, and to provide a refrigerator having the device built thereinto. SOLUTION: The touch opening device facilitates opening of a door of the refrigerator, and is formed of a casing, electromagnets 15, 18 which generates mutually repellent forces in the casing, an iron slider 16 equipped with a head 4 activated by a magnetic force of the electromagnets, and a switch 8 operable through one-touch operation. When the user touches the switch, electric current flows, and the electromagnets activate the iron slider, whereby the head presses and opens the door. In place of the electromagnets, a spring force may be applicable to activation of the head.
