PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of a construction structure for a fixed armour- clad exterior wall material. SOLUTION: In this construction structure for the exterior wall material, a diagonal groove 3a is formed on the back face in the vicinity of the lower end part of each exterior wall material 3, and a fixing metal fitting 4 is constructed of a front face piece 4a touching the front face of the upper end part in the lower exterior wall material, an upper face piece 4b continuously arranged backward from the upper end of the front face piece 4a to abut to the upper end of the lower exterior wall material, an engagement piece 4c continuously arranged upward diagonally from the upper end of the front face piece 4a to be engaged in the diagonal groove 3a in the upper exterior wall material, a supporting piece 4d extended upward flush with the front face piece from the upper end of the front face piece 4a to abut to the back face of the lower end part in the upper part exterior wall, and one or more nail holes 4e arranged in the front face piece 4a.
