PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screen printing a cream solder or the like which can prevent a drawability of a mask due to a strain deformation at a mask releasing time due to thinning of the mask in association with a miniaturization of printing of the solder or the like and which can reduce in size a product by mounting electronic components in a further higher density and connecting the components at a narrow pitch. SOLUTION: The method for screen printing the cream solder or the like comprises the steps of disposing a printed board 2 at a lower surface side of a metal mask 4 having openings 6 of a desired pattern, aligning the mask 4 and the board 2, bringing the board 2 into close contact with the mask 4, injecting the cream solder 1 from an upper surface side of the mask 4 in the openings 6 by a squeegee 3, thereafter bringing a holding member 9 into close contact with the mask 4, operating an electromagnetic coil contained in the member 9, magnetically attracting to hold the mask 4, separating the board 2 from the mask 4 in a state in which the strain deformation of the mask 4 is suppressed, and transferring the fine solder 1 having a high resolution to the desired position of the board 2.
