PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw-detection apparatus that uses Lamb waves and can improve the S/N ratio. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic flaw-detection apparatus comprises a group of transmission/reception elements 4 consisting of at least one transmission/ reception element 3 that transits Lamb waves into a test piece 1 and receives the reflection waves, a transmission/reception section 5 for transmitting or receiving signals to or from the group of transmission/reception elements 4, and a signal-processing section 6 for processing signals that are received by the transmission/reception section. The transmission/reception section 5 comprises a transmission signal generation function for generating a plurality of transmission signals, based on series that are subjected to code modulation and a reception function for receiving the reception signals to the transmission signals. Then, the signal-processing section 6 has a correlation processing function for performing the correlation processing of reception signals, corresponding to the transmission signals using a reference signal that is prescribed by the code series.
