PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing amide compound which has a siloxane bond or a silalkylene bond and excels in the chemical resistance and solvent resistance of the rubber to be obtained therefrom. SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing amide compound is represented by the formula: A-(Rf-Q)n -Rf-A [wherein Rf is a divalent perfluoroalkylene group or a divalent perfluorooxyalkylene group; A is a monovalent organic group to be represented by formula (5) or formula (6) (wherein R<1> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<2> is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group; and Z is a divalent organic group to be represented by formula (7) (wherein R<3> is an oxygen atom or a divalent hydrocarbon group; R<4> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; and R<5> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group)); Q is a divalent organic group to be represented by formula (8) (wherein R<1> , R<2> , and Z are the same as defined above); and (n) is an integer of >=1].
