PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of taking out a constant quantity of powdered/granular materials, which is simple in construction and whose manufacturing cost is low. SOLUTION: The container comprises a storing chamber (4) for powdered/ granular materials (2), having bottom plates (13 and 14) of slanting surfaces, whose cross section is of a funnel-like shape; an opening (5) provided at the lowermost bottom of the storing chamber (4), and a sliding member which has a receiving container (6) with a receiving port (35) and which is slidable so as to align the receiving port (35) with the opening (5). The receiving container (6) has no bottom, and it is constituted so that when the receiving container (6) is slided to be aligned with a dropping port (7), the powdered/granular materials in the receiving container are dropped. According to this constitution having a sliding means with which the sliding member is slided by giving some force to the sliding member, a constant quantity of the powdered/granular material can be taken out.
