PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe supporting structure for overhead piping, allowing easy construction of a synthetic resin pipe with a sufficiently small warp. SOLUTION: The pipe supporting structure comprises a rigid continuous supporting material 4 arranged right under the synthetic resin pipe 3, the rigid continuous supporting material 4 being supported together with the synthetic resin pipe 3 by supporting members 2. The synthetic resin pipe 3 and the synthetic continuous supporting material 4 are fastened to each other at predetermined intervals and the rigid continuous supporting material 4 is supported by the supporting members 2 arranged at predetermined intervals. A rigid continuous auxiliary material having a smaller coefficient of thermal expansion than the synthetic resin pipe 3 abuts right on the synthetic resin pipe 3. Furthermore, the synthetic resin pipe 3, the rigid continuous supporting material 4 and the rigid continuous auxiliary material are fastened to one another at predetermined intervals and the rigid continuous supporting material 4 is supported by the supporting member 2 arranged at predetermined intervals.
