PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device provided with a clamping mechanism for preventing the generation of flaws on a tubular member of a product at bending it. SOLUTION: In the bending device 100 with which bending is performed by pushing the tubular member such as a metallic pipe against a bending die 110, the clamp 120 of the bending device has clamp length not longer than the critical length at which dents, breaking, flaws and other damages are generated and also the contact surface which is brought into contact with the tubular member is formed from a flexible member 10 made of a material softer than the tubular member.
