PURPOSE: A hand protector rigidly secured to a door body without damage thereof is provided to simply attach/detach a bracket and to get a spare area for inserting a packing component, and to furnish a reliable fixing of the packing component. CONSTITUTION: The hand protector comprises a bracket including a central compartment wall(215) and both side walls(220); and a packing component(250). The compartment wall(215) and the side walls(220) together form an integrated assembly and the side walls are opposite to each other at both ends of the central wall(215). A space between the side walls(220) is divided into a door receiving recess(240) and a packing receiving recess(245). Opposite inner walls among the side walls(220) are not in parallel to each other and inclined to the door receiving recess(240). Accordingly, the opening of the recess(240) is narrower than the central compartment wall(215).
