PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate, a front illumination system liquid crystal display device using the same and a method for displaying an image using the same. SOLUTION: Light which leaks from the side face of the light guide plate is interrupted by a light reflection pattern 220 formed on the light reflective surface of the light guide plate 200 for modification of brightness distribution and the prevention of a moire phenomenon so that an effective display region is not divided into a bright area IV, a boundary area and a dark area V. Thereby, the moire phenomenon is prevented and brightness uniformity is improved, and a high quality display is advantageously carried out. |
