PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact lens array substrate of high light quantity efficiency which condenses and reflects without loss even in the case of oblique incidence of incident light from a light source. SOLUTION: A double convex lens system is provided, and the focus position of one convex lens part is arranged on the surface of the other convex lens, and such constitution is given that first incident light which is light of parallel rays from a color separation means, principal rays made incident through the focus position, and second incident light made incident in parallel with the principal rays are condensed together within a prescribed effective range on the side of a reflection space modulation element 80, and the reflection space modulation element 80 is provided with a plurality of reflection plates 71 which are arranged in correspondence with to pixels and are constituted so as to be able to properly change the reflection angle of incident light and a reflection plate driving means which drives the reflection plates, and the reflection plates are individually selected in accordance with pixel information to reflect required pixels to the projection lens side. |
