<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of effectively preventing a strip from meandering in a skin pass mill hardly using high-class control equipment. SOLUTION: After a preceding material is passed (S6), before starting (S23) the rolling of the next material, rolls are screwed down at the set rolling load for the next material by right and left screw-down means and zero adjustment (SZ) in which the stroke of each of the screw-down means at that time is respectively determined as the reference point is performed. When the next material is rolled (S20, S23), the set rolling load is loaded on the next material by screwing rolls down so that there is no difference in the change of the stroke to the reference point between the right and left screw-down means.</p> |
