CONFOCAL SCANNING TYPE MICROSCOPE, ITS POSITIONING METHOD, PROGRAM FOR THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confocal scanning type microscope which can easily acquire an observation picture focused on an observation target part, and in which reproducibility in measurement using the observation picture is improved. SOLUTION: Auto-focusing is carried out by using an objective lens with small magnification to detect a focal point position. The observation target part of an observation specimen is searched and the observation target part is moved on the basis of a search result. Then, the auto-focusing is carried out by using an objective lens with large magnification to detect the focal point position, and the observation target part of the observation specimen is searched. A picture is captured after moving the observation target part on the basis of a search result.
