PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the elution of a sealing material into a liquid crystal to prevent alignment unevenness of liquid crystal molecules by satisfactorily curing the inner wall surface of the sealing material. SOLUTION: A light shielding mask 105 and an optical lens 109 are provided and the luminous flux of UV rays passing through a slit 108 is condensed so as to be inclined from the inner side to the outer side of a counter substrate 20 to be introduced so that the inner wall surface of the sealing material 41 is directly irradiated. Thereby, even if fine deviation in disposition position of the light shielding mask 105 is generated, the inner wall surface of the sealing material 41 is reliably irradiated and the inner wall surface of the sealing material 41 can be reliably cured, since the inner wall surface of the sealing material is irradiated directly with the UV rays.
