PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a trunk of a conventional elevator with a trunk is opened, a trunk door which covers a trunk doorway moves forward, and a tip end interferes with an occupant and a load, and thus it is not easy to use. SOLUTION: The trunk doorway 11 of the trunk 7 is divided in two of left and right parts, and shutter bodies 24, 25, which can move in a horizontal direction and can be bent in one direction respectively, are supported by upper and lower end parts and are mounted. Shutter body housing parts 30, 31 for housing the shutter body 24 retreated when the trunk is opened are respectively formed on trunk side walls 21, 22 on left and right side surfaces of the trunk 7. When the trunk 7 is opened, the shutter bodies 24, 25 are respectively moved to the left and right side surfaces, and are housed in the shutter body housing parts 30, 31. Thereby, the trunk door does not project in front of a front opening part of the trunk when the trunk is opened.
