PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notched packaging bag the notch position of which can be easily found and the waste of which can be minimized in its production. SOLUTION: Contents are enclosed by two packaging sheets 11, seals are formed along the edges of all the sides of the overlaid packaging sheets, and a notch 13 for opening the packaging body is made in a particular part of the seal 12. The notch comprises a cut one end 13a of which is situated on the outside edge of the packaging body and the other end 13b of which is situated within the seal. As a whole, the cut has the form of a V-shape having a bent 13c at the midpoint between the ends. A triangular area R defined by the cut is continuous with the packaging body at the other end 13b of the cut in order that the area R is not removed during the manufacture. Because the notch has the substantially V-shaped form, the position of the notch can be found easily.
