<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer binol derivative which is useful as a ligand for an asymmetric synthesis catalyst, soluble in various organic solvents, and can become a ligand for a simply recoverable and reusable polymer metal binol derivative; and a binol derivative, the production intermediate of the polymer binol derivatives. SOLUTION: The polymer binol derivative is represented by formula (I) (wherein R<1> is hydrogen or a protective group; R<2> and R<4> are each a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl group or 1-4C alkoxy group; R<3> , R<5> and R<6> are each hydrogen or a 1-4C alkyl group; (*) shows axial asymmetry; (n) is an integer of 1-7; (p) and (q) are each 0 or an integer of 1-4; and (a) and (b) are each an integer of 1 or more).</p> |
