<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle theft preventing instrument which facilitates prevention of vehicle theft without fail. SOLUTION: The vehicle theft preventing instrument is comprised of a fitting section 20, a locking section 30, and a key means. The fitting section 20 is fitted into a hole 50 of a vehicle main body, that allows movement of the shift lever 51 therein, whereby the shift lever 51 is restrained from moving. The locking section 30 can lock the fitting section 20 fitted into the hole 50 so as not to be released from the hole 50. The key means maintains/releases a locking state of the locking section. Therefore, release of the fitting section 20 is inhibited while the locking section 30 maintains the locking state, whereas the fitting section 20 can be released from the hole 50 when the locking state of the locking section 30 is canceled.</p> |
