PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and quickly restrain the head part of a seated occupant without using inertia force of the seated occupant in a rear-face collision in a vehicle, by detecting the rear-face collision in the vehicle to push out a headrest main body toward a front side of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A locking means 40 is released by a control means 50 in the rear-face collision in the vehicle to turn left and right headrest members 11, 12 constituting the headrest main body 10a toward the front side of the vehicle, and a film-like body 13 expandedly laid between split ends thereof is developed to restrain the head part of the seated occupant surely and quickly by the film-like body 13.
