PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyanate ester composition high in storage stability and low in the decomposition of cyanato group under a high temperature and high humidity, and containing a curing catalyst of high crosslinking reaction rate, and also provide an insulation material therewith. SOLUTION: This cyanate ester composition is prepared by using (a) a cyanate ester, a cyanate ester resin, or their mixture and (b) a pyrazole compound, a triazole compound, or their mixture. The insulation material is prepared by using the composition.
