PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air deflector used in combination with a ventilation member as a solution to problems in a conventional technique for surely preventing penetration of rain or snow into the inside of a house without any deterioration in ventilation in the case of a gale accompanied by rain or snow or in the case of heavy rain and wind such as a typhoon even when the ventilation member for a roof crest is arranged for improving indoor ventilation. SOLUTION: This air deflector is a plate type member used in combination with the ventilation member mounted to a vent part in a building. The air deflector is provided with an air deflection part formed by tilting one end part of the plate type member by a predetermined angle, a rain repellant plate part formed by tilting the other end by a predetermined angle, at least one or more opening parts bored in the air deflection part, and a rainproof plate part arranged against the opening parts.
