PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine having a structure, to which scale is hardly adhered, and capable of securing a water temperature suitable for ice making and deicing. SOLUTION: A deicing water tank 6 is provided with a closed structure and is communicated with a heat exchanger 21 arranged below the upper water level of the deicing water tank 6 through a communicating pipe 23. When a water temperature in the deicing water tank 6 is lower than a predetermined temperature, a third pump 12 is operated to send water in the deicing water tank 6 to the heat exchanger 21 and high-temperature refrigerant gas is supplied to the heat exchanger 21 by a switching valve in a refrigerant circuit whereby the deicing water is heated. When the water temperature in the deicing water tank 6 has become the predetermined temperature, the third pump 12 is stopped and the switching valve is controlled whereby the supply of the high-temperature refrigerant gas to the heat exchanger 21 is stopped.
