PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fungicidal mix composition having widely high controlling effect on paddy rice disease injuries and insect pests, and to provide a method for controlling paddy rice disease injuries by the use of the composition. SOLUTION: This fungicidal mix composition for paddy rice comprises as the active ingredients a composition of formula (1) [where, R is H, -COR<1> , -COOR<1> (wherein R<1> is a 1-4C alkyl), -COCH2 OCH3 or -COCH3 OCOCH3 ] or an acid addition salt thereof and at least one well-known paddy rice disease injury-controlling compound. The composition has high controlilng effect on various paddy rice disease injuries including rice blight, sheath blight, ear blight caused by Helminthosporium fungi or Cercospora fungi, or the like, rice discoloration caused by Curvularia fungi or Alternaria fungi, or the like, false smut and bacterial grain rot, and on various insect pests including leafhopper, stinkbug, rice stem borer, grass leaf roller and grasshopper.
