PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document stacker which can load a document surely positioned in a prescribed position even when the document of various thickness is conveyed to come. SOLUTION: A rotational speed in a direction of arrow mark B of a spiral tooth rotary plate 105 is controlled so as to be slower than a rotational speed (conveying speed of document) of a conveying roller 101, a document conveyed by the conveying roller 101 is pressed into between comb teeth of the spiral tooth rotary plate 105 to be placed in an interposed condition. The document interposed between a plurality of comb teeth is conveyed to be reversed in a condition interposed in the comb teeth of the spiral tooth rotary plate 105. The comb teeth are constituted in shape gradually spread in spiral shape in accordance with going to the tip, by making cramping capable of the concerned document in a comb tooth position in accordance with a document thickness regardless of a thickness of the document conveyed to come, the document can be interposed by insertion catching in a position in a tip end part side of the comb teeth in the case of large thickness of the document and in a part of more root of the comb teeth in the case of small thickness of the document, the document of thickness in a wide range can be surely loaded on a lifter 107.
