PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having high sensitivity and reduced in background fog by enhancing the storage stability of a sensitizer composition necessary in a sensitivity enhancing material. SOLUTION: The sensitizer (heat-meltable compound) composition is obtained by subjecting acetotoluidide to wet grinding along with specific polyvinyl alcohol to disperse the same. The thermal recording material using this composition is also disclosed. |
