PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen oxide a medicinal composition for increasing the production of interferon-γ and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A nitrogen oxide containing a water extract of a mixture of YOKUININN (seed of Coix laryma-jobi), chicory, GOKAHI (bark of Periplosa sepium), lonicerae flos, KIKYOU (root of Platycodon grandiflorum), white Hoelen, Laminariaceae, dandelion, ISHISHOUBU and KANZOU (root of Glycyrrhiza glabra), or a dried powder of the water extract, as an active ingredient. A medicinal composition for increasing the production of interferon-γ. A method for manufacturing the medicinal composition characterized in that a water extract is obtained by extracting the mixture with water or a powder is obtained by drying the water extract, and subsequently the water extract or the powder is mixed with a pharmaceutically permissible carrier. |
