PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combustion equipment that can eliminate the ineffective use of tap water used for diluting and neutralizing the drain of a combination water heating and hydronic heating appliance when the equipment is applied to the appliance. SOLUTION: This combustion equipment is provided with a heat exchanger 32 which is installed to a warm-water circulating flow passage 38 for the combination water heating and hydronic heating appliance and can recover latent heat, a burner 12 which heats the heat exchanger 32, and a drain discharging means 47 which collects and discharges the drain produced in the heat exchanger 32 when the exchanger 32 is heated by means of the burner 12. This equipment is also provided with a tap-water supply means 52 which supplies tap water to the discharging means 47. The return flow passage 40 of the circulating flow passage 38 is provided with a warm-water temperature detecting means 6. A microcomputer 58 controls the tap-water supply means 52 based on the temperature of returned warm water detected by means of the warm-water temperature detecting means 68. |
