METHOD FOR REDUCTION-CASTING ALUMINUM FOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reduction-casting an aluminum foil with which the high quality aluminum foil can be produced with a good yield. SOLUTION: In the method for reduction-casting the aluminum foil with which a reducible compound generated by reacting metallic gas and reactive gas, is introduced into a cavity 12b in an aluminum foil forming mold 12 and oxidized film on the surface of molten metal is reduced to cast the aluminum foil, the molten metal is peculiarly filled up into the cavity 12b without applying a coating agent having heat insulating property on the inner surface of the cavity 12b for forming a product surface which is given greater importance in terms of the outward appearance on the side of one side surface having a designing part of the aluminum foil.
