PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical branching device capable of efficiently making branched incident light beams enter optical fibers. SOLUTION: The optical branching device (10) is provided with a diffracting function part (11) for receiving the incident light and emitting at least transmitted light and primary diffracted light, and a light condensing function part (13) for converging the emitted light, and the converged light is emitted by the optical branching device to at least two optical fibers (15 and 16) as two kinds of emitted light, the diffracting function part (11) is arranged on the front focus (f) position of the light condensing function part (13), and the incident surface of the optical fiber is arranged on the image forming surface of the emitted light by the light condensing function part (13). |
