PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask for printing a sealing agent, by which the contact of the sealing agent with an alignment layer on a glass substrate can be prevented and to provide a manufacturing method for the mask for printing the sealing agent. SOLUTION: The mask 4 for printing the sealing agent used when the sealing agent 20 is printed on the glass substrate 1 of a liquid crystal display panel is provided with an aperture part 9 corresponding to the printing pattern of the sealing agent 20 and a recessed part 10 in an area corresponding to the position of the alignment layer formed on the glass substrate 1 in the surface opposed to the glass substrate of the mask 4 for printing the sealing agent.
