PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide article storage facility capable of eliminating a necessity for redesigning sensors in accordance with articles even if there are various kinds of articles and investigating the cause of article position abnormality easily. SOLUTION: An imaging device 17 for photographing a condition of the article F on an elevating base 3 is provided on the elevating base 3 of a stacker crane C, and a crane controller CC which judges whether the article F on the elevating base 3 is good or not depending on the condition of the article F photographed by the imaging device 17 and informs when it judges that the article F on the elevating base 3 is not normal is provided. According to this configuration, it is possible to judge whether the article F on the elevating base 3 is good or not by image processing even if there are many kinds of articles F and eliminate a necessity for redesigning sensors in accordance with the articles F.
