PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering device aligning the center of a disc 1 with the center of rotation of a turntable 2 and achieving this centering at low cost and with high precision. SOLUTION: A slider 13 is moved rectilinearly by a drive mechanism 30 to press a first pressing element 14 against the outer periphery of the disc 1 and a pair of right and left arms 15 and 16 are rotated via respective links 21 and 22 as the slider 13 moves, to press second and third pressing elements 19 and 20 against the outer periphery of the disc 1 whereby the disc 1 is centered.
