TANGLE DETECTING METHOD FOR WIRE AND REWINDING METHOD FOR WIRE USING THIS DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of exactly and rapidly detecting the tangle of a wire in rewinding the wire and a rewinding method for wire using this detecting method. SOLUTION: A winding frame B (guide stand) 8 is arranged below a winding frame A (bobbin) 2 and the prescribed point between the winding frame A2 and the winding frame B8 is scanned with an electron beam 2 of a photoelectric sensor. The occurrence of the tangle is decided when the winding frame A2 rotates a prescribed number of turns while the falling spiral wire 1 delivered from the winding frame A2 shuts off the electron beam 9 once or when the spiral wire 1 keeps shutting off the electron beam 9 for the prescribed time. The rotation of the winding frame A2 is automatically stopped when the tangle is detected by the method described above.
