Exemplified N-halo compounds are: N,N<SP>1</SP>- dichlorobarbiturate, the N-chloro derivatives of p-toluenesulphonamide, methane sulphonamide, melamine, 2-imidazolinone, pyrrolidone, 5- methyluracil, 5,5-dimethylhydantoin, hydantoin, acetanilide, N-ethylacetamide, acetamide, phthalimide, phthalohydrazide, benzamide, urea, N-methylurea, methylolurea, acetylurea, biuret, methyl and ethyl allophanates, methyl and ethyl carbamates, pyrrole, indole, formamide and N-methylformamide, and N-bromosuccinimide, N-iodo-N-ethylacetamide. |
