PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid chemical for ground improvement which comprises an aqueous sodium silicate solution containing a polyhydroxy compound and a silicone-base surfactant and can prevent the occurrence of foaming e.g. on the grouting site or in its downstream side of a river. SOLUTION: The liquid chemical for grouting for ground improvement in claim 1 is an aqueous sodium silicate solution (component A) containing a polyhydroxy compound and a silicone-base surfactant and is foamed and cured by the reaction with an isocyanate compound (component B), the surfactant comprising a first surfactant with a foam-stabilizing function and a second surfactant with a defoaming function. The liquid chemical for grouting for ground improvement in claim 4 is an aqueous sodium silicate solution (component A) containing a polyhydroxy compound and a surfactant and is foamed and cured by the reaction with an isocyanate compound (component B), the surfactant having a foam-breaking function. |
